The ETTU sports court has decided against its own presidium and against the general judgment that the CAS had made. Dusseldorf rules out participation in the final
The club rules out a sporting decision in the final with Düsseldorf participation, which is now possible again: “We made it clear before the semifinals that because of the war in Ukraine we wouldn’t be playing against Russian teams, some of which are even state-sponsored.”
That has not changed, according to the club. “If it comes to a delayed final, it’s bitter, but we don’t compete”Schilling left no doubts about Borussia’s attitude.
