It may be that many people have only now become aware that Sydney Sweeney is one of the stars in the HBO series “Euphoria” is. No wonder, there are several years between the 2nd and 3rd seasons. The actress became known with the drastic youth series and is now a Hollywood phenomenon with impact. Whatever she does ends up on the internet immediately.

It has now become known that the makers of the series were considering cutting out numerous revealing scenes that were filmed with the 28-year-old. But Sweeney refused and, according to series creator Sam Levinson, demanded that nothing be censored.

In the new episodes, the character Cassie, played by the actress, earns her money from content on OnlyFans. Of course, recordings for the portal are also shown explicitly. Sweeney is seen naked several times, and once even in a dog costume.

The life of an OnlyFans model is permissive

Levinson in “Popcast” The New York Times: “I talked to her: ‘Maybe there’s an option not to do certain things?’ She looked at me and said, ‘Are you serious? I play an OnlyFans model. Do you want to leave that out?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, okay, good point.'”

The showrunner confirmed that Sweeney worked exceptionally professionally on set and approached her task with “great flexibility in performance.” The nude scenes with the actress, in which she also poses naked with a constrictor, were not always meant as seriously as many people took them, says Levinson. “There’s a certain absurdity to it that’s just fun.”

The producer still had to listen to a lot about the new and final season of “Euphoria”. Many fans found the development of the story lurid and suspected that some of the main actors were forced to do certain actions. An accusation that Levinson doesn’t want to accept. In the “Popcast” conversation, he made it clear that everyone involved felt safe – and could do so on set: “That’s how you get a great performance. That doesn’t work if there’s any tension, because it blocks emotions. I learned that from my time studying acting.”

Sydney Sweeney recently openly enjoyed herself on Instagram about the discussions surrounding her stark naked sequences in “Euphoria.” She posted numerous pictures from the filming that show her and others having fun at work. At the same time, you can see what precautions were taken to ensure that the situation did not become too intimate for the actress. Sweeney wrote, partly proudly, partly sarcastically: “That’s called acting.”
