The group includes Mette Frederiksen, Prime Minister of Denmark. The Nordic Council, a partnership between the Nordic parliaments, meets for its 77th session.
“Together, let us continue to strengthen our Nordic community – for the daily lives of our citizens, for the future of our societies and for our shared voice in the world,” King Carl Gustaf said in his speech. He also emphasized the importance of NATO, of which all Scandinavian countries are members. “By deepening our dialogue in the areas of defense and security, we contribute to stability in our region,” he addressed the guests.
