Sweden’s millionaire mother Gunilla Persson is aiming for Eurovision

According to information from Aftonbladet, Gunilla Persson will compete in next year’s Melodifestivalen.

Known for the Swedish millionaires reality show Gunilla Persson64, will compete in the 2024 Melodifestivalen, reports Aftonbladet.

The winner of the music competition Melodifestivalen represents Sweden in Eurovision. The 2024 visas will be held in Malmö, Sweden next May.

There have been rumors about Persson’s participation in Melodifestivalen, or Melloi in the vernacular, for some time. Persson was fired at the age of 21 Erika– with his daughter in music studios earlier this year.

A source tells Aftonbladet that Persson plans to appear in the competition solo, not with his daughter.

The competition song is said to be about Persson’s public persona, “The Gunilla”.

According to Aftonbladet, the song was written by hit singer Fredrik Andersson.

The artists of Melodifestivalen will be officially announced at the press conference on December 1st.

Persson himself has not commented on the matter so far. However, he tells in the fresh in his Instagram update that he will be in Sweden from the end of November until December 18 with his daughter.

Persson was also involved in the popular in Finland Sweden’s millionaire mothers – program for 10 production seasons in 2010–2019. Persson, who lives in Hollywood, has also participated in other reality television programs and hosted his own talk show.

Persson caught the attention of the viewers in Sweden’s millionaire mothers with his rude behavior and big ideas. Erika’s daughter, who also lived with Persson, and Iris-mother were featured a lot in the program.

Iris Persson died in the spring at the age of 97.
