Left -back Daniel Svensson has rejected the advances of other clubs for Borussia Dortmund. For the 23-year-old Sweden, the transfer from Nordsjaelland to BVB on Deadline Day was associated with some turbulence. “It is true that there was interest from other clubs. But when that became concrete with Borussia Dortmund, I just wanted to come here. It is a very large club, one of the largest teams in Germany. When I was given the chance to play here, I really wanted to do that, ”said Svensson in an interview with the“ Ruhr Nachrichten ”.
Coach Niko Kovac had praised the professional, who was hired on a loan with a purchase option, in mid -February: “Little Svensson came and nobody had him on the list.
