The former box champion Sven Ottke had a serious accident in Mallorca. The 58-year-old was hit by a car when he was traveling by bike. He suffered serious injuries.

The week before the accident, Ottke and Wegner had been on the island together in a holiday club and offered training hours for vacationers.
Ottke resigned in 2004 as an unbeaten double world champion in the super middleweight. He had won all of his 34 fights during his professional career.
