SV Sandhausen signs Kemal Ademi from FK Khimki

Most recently at SC Paderborn

SV Sandhausen has closed the last position in the squad: Kemal Ademi is strengthening the second division team for the 2022/23 season. The 26-year-old center forward comes from the Russian first division club FK Khimki. In the first half of the year, Ademi played for Sandhausen’s league rivals SC Paderborn 07 and was directly involved in three goals in six games.

“We were able to sign exactly the type of striker we were looking for and, after very good talks over the past few weeks, we are happy to have signed a dream player in Kemal. Kemal has made use of his special right as a Russia legionnaire and has chosen SVS for this season. With him we were able to sign a player who suits us very well and strengthens our squad. I’m sure he’ll quickly integrate into the team,” said sporting director Mikayil Kabaca.

Ademi added: “I didn’t have to think twice when my advisor told me about an offer from the SVS. The contact to those responsible was immediately positive and convinced me at first contact. What I am most looking forward to is the fans and the new environment.”
