SV Elversberg: Ebnoutalib agrees with Eintracht Frankfurt on a move

The sought-after Elversberg striker Younes Ebnoutalib recently ruled out a winter change (click here for the article), but the 22-year-old is likely to leave the Saarland by next summer at the latest. As the “Bild” newspaper reported on Sunday, Ebnoutalib has already agreed on all the modalities of a change with Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt – but VfL Wolfsburg is intervening with Hesse with a higher transfer offer.

According to the paper, the 1.91 meter tall right-footer, whose market value jumped from 1.5 to 6 million euros last week, has already gotten a personal impression in Frankfurt, inspected the club premises and verbally approved all contractual points. He should therefore sign a contract on Main until 2030. However, the transfer fee could become a problem for the Bundesliga club: according to “Bild”, Frankfurt’s offer should amount to 5 million euros plus bonuses and a share in the sale. In Elversberg, in the event of the striker leaving, whose working paper is dated until 2028, at least 8 to 10 million euros are expected, it was recently said. A sum that Frankfurt’s league rivals Wolfsburg are apparently prepared to cover.

As the newspaper further reports, the Lower Saxony team in Elversberg has already made an official offer of 10 million euros for Ebnoutalib. The attacker only moved to the game association from FC Gießen in the Regionalliga Südwest in January 2025 for 50,000 euros. In his youth he played for Rot-Weiss Frankfurt and SV Wehen Wiesbaden, among others, and in 2022 he made the move to Italy to AC Perugia. After leaving Italy in January 2024, he was without a club for six months before the move to Giessen came about. Ebnoutalib is now at the top of the top scorers list in League Two with eleven goals.
