From next season, Suzanne Bakker will succeed Danny Schenkel as the new head coach of the Ajax Women. Bakker is currently training the Ajax Women’s Talent Team. The born Hensbroekse has signed a contract for two years.
Bakker has been the head coach since the foundation of the Ajax Women’s Talent Team in 2018. The promises immediately became champions in her first season as a trainer. The Noord-Hollandse was previously assistant coach with the Excelsior women’s team and head coach of Wartburgia Women, coming out in the top class.
Yesterday Ajax Women won 2-0 against fellow provincial VV Alkmaar. Romée Leuchter scored both goals for the team from Amsterdam.
