Suspect double murder Kraainem placed under arrest warrant | News

KraainemPierre D., the 50-year-old suspect of the double murder in Kraainem, has been placed under arrest warrant by the investigating judge and charged with murder. Belga has learned this from judicial sources. Pierre D. denies having anything to do with the facts.

The man had a relationship with victim Magali W., but it would have come to an end. Both Magali W. and her 17-year-old daughter Coline were killed with several stab wounds, presumably in the night from Wednesday to Thursday.

It was D. himself who notified the emergency services on Thursday evening when he discovered a pool of blood in the entrance hall in the family home in Annecylaan in Kraainem. The bodies of Magali W. (46), a teacher at a school in Anderlecht, and her 17-year-old daughter Coline were subsequently found in the house. Both had been killed with several stab wounds, according to informed sources of “unseen aggressiveness”.

The mobile phones of both victims were missing, as was Magali W.’s car, but otherwise there would have been no indications that it was a burglary. However, some things pointed out that the two victims had already been killed in the night from Wednesday to Thursday. For example, daughter Coline did not show up at her school, the Don Bosco Institute in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre on Thursday. Neighbors had also heard a loud arguing in the family home around 2 a.m. Wednesday night.

Pierre D. has denied in his interrogation with the police and the investigating judge that he would have killed both victims. The man would also have spent the night from Wednesday to Thursday with a friend. In various media, the newly formed family is described by neighbors as a model family. However, according to Magali W.’s first partner, Coline’s father, Pierre D. and Magali W. had recently decided to split up.
