Suspect (68) drug lab Kiel-Windeweer detained for longer, list of suspicions further expanded

The 68-year-old man from Kiel-Windeweer, who is suspected of involvement in a drug lab in that place, will be detained for sixty days longer. This was announced by the Public Prosecution Service (OM).

The suspicions against the man are also extensive. De Groninger may have had to do with hiding or getting rid of the body that was in the lab. Police found the dead man on August 22, a day after the drug lab was discovered.

The man is also suspected of dumping drug waste on May 25 in Roden and Norg, the Public Prosecution Service said.

A 65-year-old man from the municipality of Oldambt and a 68-year-old woman from Central Groningen were previously arrested for involvement in the case. They have since been released, but remain suspect.
