Liverpool FC right-back Conor Bradley’s fears of a long absence have been confirmed. The 22-year-old Northern Ireland international has suffered a serious knee injury and will undergo surgery soon, the Reds announced. The season for the regular player is reportedly over.

Bradley had so far prevailed on the right defensive side against summer signing Jeremie Frimpong (25), who has only played 711 minutes in 14 games for his new club due to injury. The former Leverkusen player only played sporadically in the back four and was sometimes used more offensively.
