Super Bowl: Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift celebrate victory with a smooch

The singer came all the way from Tokyo to support her boyfriend at the Super Bowl.

At the 58th Super Bowl on February 11th, Travis Kelce and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, emerged as champions of the championship. This was something to celebrate properly and for the tight end that meant first falling into the arms of his girlfriend Taylor Swift on the field and kissing her lovingly – surrounded by the press, teammates and the like.

Victory in overtime and kiss for the winner

It was actually not that clear that Kelce’s team could win the game, even though they were the favorites and defending champions. Despite this advantage, they were only able to win the game in overtime, in which the Chiefs were able to reach the final score of 25:22 with a touchdown pass. Of course, this nerve-wracking fight had to be celebrated – for the 34-year-old that meant running straight to his loved one.

Sophisticated trip to the Super Bowl

Taylor Swift traveled from Tokyo especially for the Super Bowl to cheer on her partner. A few hours earlier she was on stage in the Japanese capital to perform a concert from her “The Eras” tour. The fact that she made it to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on time in such a short time was due to the international date line, which runs through the Pacific Ocean. Since Swift crossed this to the east, she essentially traveled back a day.

Whether the singer would make it to the Super Bowl in time was also hotly debated on social media. So it’s no wonder that their presence attracted a lot of attention and even so-called “prop bets” emerged. These give tips for something that is not explicitly related to the match itself. In this case, things included how often CBS would show her on camera during the broadcast and what color her lipstick would be.
