Summer drinks suit the Finnish taste

The warm end of August is the perfect time to organize a yard party or enjoy the atmosphere of the end of summer in your own peace at home or in a cottage.

We put together drink recipes suitable for the Finnish summer atmosphere. These drinks are perfect for the last moments of summer. Collect the recipes!

Sainio

4 cl rye gin

4 teaspoons sea buckthorn

2 cl vanilla syrup (or homemade sugar syrup)

2 cl of freshly squeezed lemon juice

lots of ice

1. Crush the sea buckthorn in a shaker or jar with a lid.

2. Add the other ingredients and freeze well. Shake well and strain into a glass filled with ice.

3. Garnish with a few sea buckthorn berries and enjoy the sea buckthorn bomb.

Carrot margarita

2 cl of Cointreau

2 cl light tequila

3 cl of freshly squeezed lime juice

4 cl carrot juice

1 cl of sugar syrup

freeze

1. Add all the ingredients to the shaker, fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 10 seconds.

2. Strain the drink into a glass and garnish with a carrot.

Pink Gin & Tonic

4 cl of pink gin

10 cl raspberry-rhubarb tonic (e.g. Fever-Tree Raspberry Rhubarb) or soda water

a slice of blood grapefruit

lots of ice

1. Pour gin and tonic water into a glass filled with ice.

2. Mix gently, Garnish with blood grapefruit.

Beetroot Blush

4 cl of tequila

2 cl lime juice

2 cl agave syrup or sugar broth

5 cl of pineapple juice

2 cl chickpea broth (can)

2 cl of aloe Vera juice

2 cl of beetroot juice

1. Measure the ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake. Strain the finished drink into a glass and serve.

Whiskey Mule

4 cl rye whiskey

2 cl fresh lime juice

10 cl of ginger beer

Lime block

Mint

Ice

1. Fill the glass with ice. Add rye whiskey, lime juice and ginger beer. Mix lightly.

2. Garnish with a lime wedge and a sprig of mint.
