The investment subsidy for sustainable energy and energy saving (ISDE), with which people can apply for, among other things, a subsidy for insulating measures, such as HR ++ glass or floor, facade, roof and or wall insulation or the installation of a (hybrid) heat pump will be opened again next year. The government has decided this after a positive evaluation of the scheme.

In the period 2019-2023, households and entrepreneurs took more than 760,000 sustainability measures with the help of the ISDE scheme. The scheme helps people to structurally lower their energy bill, for example by insulating the home, and more is more than 0.6 megaton of co2 Prevent emissions.

The researchers conclude that the scheme is effective and people take measures that they would otherwise not have taken. This applies to all income groups. Moreover, the scheme scores better than comparable schemes abroad.

The cabinet has therefore decided to extend the ISDE scheme. The same subsidy rates will apply before 2026. The cabinet will take a decision in mid -next year on the design of the ISDE from 2027.
