Stylein continues its expansion in Europe and, after launch in the United Kingdom, starts with luxury dealers such as Selfridges, Harrods and Liberty in Germany, the brand announced on Monday. The locations of KaDewe in Berlin, Alsterhaus in Hamburg and Oberpollinger in Munich, which belong to the Berlin luxury goods store operator KaDeWe Group, start.
“We are incredibly happy to seriously work with the German market,” said Stylein founder Elin Alemdar. “The potential here is huge.”
A first test phase in the Oberpollinger has already been completed after Buyer discovered the brand of the FW25-Paris Fashion Week last year. After overwhelming positive results, it has now been decided to expand the collaboration to the other two houses. The starting signal for this is the delivery of the HW26 collection. In 2026 the fashion retailer Breuninger will follow, where the first pieces should be available in Stuttgart’s flagship next spring.
So far, the brand, founded in Stockholm in 2001, was particularly well represented in the Nordic countries, which made up for around 80 percent of wholesale sales. In the past six months, however, Stylein has been open to an international audience. After completing the order phase for the SS26 season, the company reported an increase in sales of 65 percent in the Wholesale. The number of international customers: inside has more than doubled compared to the previous year.
“It is still difficult to understand how quickly our international journey has started,” said Alemdar. “But I think this is due to several factors: We are ready as a brand to take the next step; our aesthetics and our design DNA address a global audience; and our high-quality materials in combination with a price level that remains affordable for the everyday woman-all of this helps us to break new ground.”
