National player Lukas Reichel is moving from the Vancouver Canucks to former national coach Marco Sturm and the Boston Bruins within the North American ice hockey league NHL.
In return, the Canucks benefit at the next draft event, where the young talents are selected. Because they receive a sixth-round draft pick for 2026.
The 23-year-old Reichel was recently part of the Olympic squad and took sixth place with the DEB selection in northern Italy. In the NHL, the Nuremberg native has played 188 games for Vancouver and the Chicago Blackhawks. The winger scored 22 goals and prepared 37 goals.
