The number of former students with a study debt is increasing and the average height of the debt continues to grow. This is according to new figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). Especially the number of former students who have to repay more than half a ton. Moreover, there are now more than three thousand people in the Netherlands with a debt of more than a ton.
