Student crashes, commits flight crime and now has to explain it to the judge: “He has academic potential”

A student cantus went completely wrong for a young man from Sint-Truiden in Limburg. After a hard drink, he stepped behind the wheel, caused an accident and fled on foot. The student was eventually caught and took a positive breath test. “It was a very stupid mistake, but I learned my lesson,” it sounded in the Hasselt police court.
