On Thursday, the President of the Republic, Alexander Stubb, published a picture of himself on social media, in which he is taking a dip in freezing sea water.
– Winter can wait in the south, but the water was refreshingly cold. Season opened, Stubb writes on Instagram and on Facebook along with the update he published.
Along with the Finnish update, Stubb has added a topic identifier hole in the ice. The caption was written by Stubb in Swedish and English in addition to Finnish.

Based on the picture, Stubb has gone swimming wearing a wetsuit. The president has a beanie on his head. Stubb, with his back to the camera, holds his bare hands above the surface.
Instagram followers have left plenty of comments under Stubb’s post.
