A heathland area of about 15,000 square meters burned down on Sunday evening at Oude Baan-Oost in Rosmalen. Because the area borders on the woods, the fire service quickly scaled up.
This is an area where the garbage dump of Rosmalen used to be.
Two fire trucks from Rosmalen and a water truck from Den Bosch came to the scene to extinguish the fire. A special fire-extinguishing vehicle for forest fires has also been deployed.
