A jewelery store on Anegang in the center of Haarlem was robbed this morning. The storefront was blown up. The police were able to arrest two people.

The burglary took place around 4:15 am. The bang can be clearly heard in the center of Haarlem. The explosive caused a lot of damage to the building. The shutter has been destroyed and there is glass on the ground. Surrounding buildings also suffered damage.
The police say that several perpetrators were involved in the burglary. They made off with an unknown loot and fled on a scooter. Later this morning, two people were arrested on suspicion of involvement. Their role is under investigation.
The police are asking witnesses or people with camera images in the area to share their information.
