Musician Paula Vesala, 41, published a long essay on a heavy theme on her Instagram account. Along with his writing, Vesala has published a childhood picture of himself, in which he looks thoughtfully into the camera.

In the article, Vesala talks about his own history and experiences. Vesala tells how he has struggled with losing his zest for life.

– I remember thinking at a fairly young age that I have no identity, that if I’m lying here on the floor, I’m really nobody. Life didn’t seem very meaningful, and at least I didn’t.

In themes, he deals with, among other things, feelings of being outside and the desire to make new beginnings.

Vesala criticizes today’s atmosphere, according to which everyone should constantly achieve something. Vesala ponders how success in music is even measured. Should there be awards or large listening times behind the success.

– For a person whose challenge for a long time was that he didn’t want to live at all, such expectations coming from the outside seem like coming from a strange planet. And to put it more clearly, they feel pointless and boring, Vesala writes.

Vesala has written a song based on his thoughts My name is nobody.

Vesala’s followers shared their support for the musician in the comment field of the photo.

– Golden. I recognize, editor Maria Veitola comment.

– Paula dear. Yes, new beginnings, musician and actress Malla Malmivaara commented.

– A wonderful song that, like this post, makes you think about things. Couldn’t success in music be that the music touches, dances or even makes even one person smile?

The most famous songs of Vesala’s solo career include, among others Bad weather birds and Tequila.
