The president of Verona: “We hope to have them with us soon, they are fundamental”

Italo Zanziexecutive president of Verona, published a note to express his opposition to the measure of the Ministry of the Interior following the events preceding the match between Pisa and Verona on Saturday 18 October which decreed a three-month stop to travel for both fans. This is what was released by the yellow-blue club:

Hellas Verona FC informs that this morning, Saturday 25 October, a letter was sent to the relevant authorities regarding the decision adopted by the Ministry of the Interior following the events that occurred during the pre-match of Pisa-Hellas Verona outside the ‘Cetilar Arena’.

These are the statements of Executive President of the Club, Italo Zanzi: “We thought it right to write directly to the relevant authorities to express our regret for the decision taken towards the entirety of our fans. This measure unfairly punishes the numerous families and all the fans who have always maintained correct behavior and who see themselves deprived for three months of the possibility of following and supporting their favorite team away from home. As a Club we thought it was right to express our thoughts to protect the yellow-blue community, which follows every week our team peacefully and passionately. We therefore hope to have our away fans with us soon to support the team as they are fundamental for us.”
