A 55-year-old man from Oirschot was arrested on Monday for stealing three sheep from a meadow on the Meidoornweg in Waalwijk. The animals were removed from the meadow on Saturday night. Six sheep were already stolen from the same pasture in June.
Whether the man is also behind the theft of the six sheep is not clear. These three sheep are healthy and are returned to the owner, who had reported the theft.
It is not clear why the thief stolen the sheep and where the other six sheep are. The man is stuck and the police are further investigating the thefts.
