One day before the US midterms elections, Sting called on his fans there to vote. “I want to congratulate you on the opportunity for your voice to be heard this Tuesday,” Sting wrote on Facebook. At the Midterms, the House of Representatives and part of the Senate will be re-elected.
“To all my American friends, as a British citizen I would never presume to tell you who to vote for,” Sting wrote. “Regardless of your party affiliation, everyone should take this opportunity, it could be one of the most important decisions you will ever be asked to make.” , in which it will be decided whether the United States will remain democratic.
The ex-The Police frontman released his 15th album, The Bridge, in 2021. Jazz saxophonist Branford Marsalis also played on the record alongside longtime collaborators Dominic Miller and Josh Freeue.
