FC Bayern obliges Danish international

FC Bayern upgraded for the new season on the defensive. A leaders come from Italy to the German champion.

FC Bayern has strengthened with an experienced defender. The club signs the Danish Stine Ballisager and binds them until 2027. The 31-year-old comes from the Italian first division club AC Florence.

Ballis camp has plenty of international experience. In her career, she played over 60 caps for Denmark. Now she should stabilize the defensive of the German Doubles winner.

Francisco de Sa Fardilha, sporting director of the Bavaria women, emphasized: Balli wager was “combative, fast, strong in air duels and also technically versed”. In addition, she has leadership qualities and is “hungry for titles”, which, according to de Sa Fardilha, is particularly important at Bayern.

The player described herself as a “real defender”. At the same time, she has a passion for ball possession football – that fits “excellently about the style of FC Bayern”.

Ballisager first played in Denmark before moving to Vålerenga Oslo in 2018 in 2018. There she became a master and won the trophy twice. In the meantime, she was under contract with Kansas City Current in the USA before going to Italy in early 2025.
