Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi not only combine their mutual love and those to tennis. The couple also loves pickle ball – and has an agreement.

Steffi Graf is one of the most successful tennis players in history. In its active time, the Germans won 22 Grand Slam tournaments. Her husband Andre Agassi was also a successful player and won eight of the most important titles. The couple not only combines mutual love and the tennis, but also another sport: pickleball.

The setback game was created in the United States and the field is half the size of a normal tennis court. It can be played in singles or doubles. Graf and Agassi often play and also won the “Pickleball Slam” on ESPN in the duo in February of this year.

Now the 54-year-old Agassi explained to the “People” magazine in an interview: “We like that pickleball is a common sport. Those who play pickleball improve their game quickly.”

Then he added: “While all sports enthusiasts play it, the age of the players is getting younger.” The 55-year-old Graf, who lives with her husband in Las Vegas, said: “Andre still plays tennis, but I don’t often.”

Graf, who was the world rankings in tennis for 377 weeks, stated: “We really liked to get a new sport during the pandemic and to get to know new friends through pickleball.”

Together, Graf and Agassi are often on the pickleball court. The couple put up a rule: “We don’t play against each other. We prefer to be on the same side of the square.”

The couple would also like to carry sport into the world and inspire even more people. It travels to China and Vietnam. And what do Graf and Agassi do if they are not on the go? “When we are not right, we train a lot of pickle ball. Since we both play, it is fun to play together,” said Graf.
