A number of houses on the Atalanta in Deurne have been considerably damaged because steel balls have been fired on it. The police think someone did that with a slingshot. There is still no trace of the perpetrator.
The police have received several reports from local residents, because their houses have been considerably damaged. Someone has shot small steel balls of about an inch in size on the houses. The police suspect that this has been done with a catapult ‘or a similar object’.
Several people have reported. “As far as is known, there have been no injuries yet, but the situation is serious and potentially dangerous,” the police report.
The police therefore hope that there are witnesses who have seen someone with a weapon or catapult, or that someone from the area has camera images.
