The steam came out of the ears of Emiel after a collision that took place on the track near Helmond. Emiel is team leader in incident fighting at ProRail and was once again looking at how many people in such a situation want to ignore the deposit and – as the pinnacle – even a nice view to see what had happened.
“I have already experienced a lot of things in my working life and surprised me about the behavior of people in these types of incidents,” he starts his story on Instagram. “Again again.”
“We put the way off so that you don’t see what you don’t want to see.”
Emiel was busy with his team on Saturday with the aftermath of the collision on the track. “A sad matter where the police, fire brigade, the funeral care and we as ProRail work with all due respect. Often roads and / or cycle paths are trimmed with red -white ribbon. We do this to be able to work in peace and protect bystanders. So that they do not see things that you actually do not want to see at all.”
But the deposition Emiel and his colleagues were put on a lot of comments on Saturday. “Because people were cycling or walking and, according to their route description, really had to go straight on, under the ribbon. We all got very tired of it.”
“Cycling those five hundred meters does not really make the difference.”
He sighs: “May I point out to you on behalf of the care providers that you have chosen to cycle a round for relaxation during your free afternoon and that the five hundred meters that you have to cycle in such a case does not really make the difference! And believe me, the view at that diversion was better than ours.”
A passer -by made it completely fur. “This performed to climb a slope of three meters high with the very best view over the track. The best man didn’t want to miss anything about the spectacle.”
“I would hear from it …”
That was the drop for Emiel. “I walked to the best man. He wanted to put it up at that time, but he stopped when Emiel was able to do it.” When I was with the best man, I gave him two nitrile bruise gloves and asked him to walk towards the location of the collision. He didn’t understand it. After I explained to him that he could come and help, so that he could experience everything up close and see. “That turned out not to be quite his wish.
The man then scolded Emiel for a rude jerk. “I would hear from it,” said ProRail’s incidents fighter on Instagram. “Well, I look forward to seeing your complaint!”
