The autumn sale has started on the largest video game platform Steam. As always, there are some major titles significantly reduced. TECHBOOK checks the offer.
Around the Black Friday hustle and bustle, Steam has also scheduled its big autumn sale again. Since November 22, gaming fans can get big titles at significantly lower prices on the platform; the sale is scheduled to last until November 29, 7:00 p.m. But which games are actually on offer and are they worth it?

Even if this year’s autumn already feels like winter for some, one is currently greeting you, at least on Steam beautiful autumn leaves. And the colder the season gets, the better you can make yourself comfortable with a good video game in your own four walls. Steam players currently have the opportunity to get large AAA titles, but also smaller indie games, at a reduced price.
So it’s worth taking a look at the offers or the wish list at the moment. You can also nominate games for the Steam Award 2022 as part of the autumn sale. So that you can keep track of the many discounted games, we have a few highlights for you here.
Cyberpunk 2077 for 29.99 euros (-50%)
Sci-Fi RPG with a deep story and a beautiful open world. As Söldner V you make your way through the wicked city of Night City and try to unravel the secrets of a bio-chip. After developer CD Projekt Red has improved it with several updates, this game is a clear recommendation.
God of War (2018) for 37.49 euros (-25%)
The former Spartan general Kratos now lives with his family in Midgard. After the death of his wife, he sets out with his son Atreus to scatter her ashes on the highest peak of all Nine Worlds.
Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy for 29.99 euros (-50%)
The 22nd part of the “Atelier” series is in no way inferior to its predecessors. Alchemist Ryza and her friends explore ancient ruins and even the underworld in search of treasure.
Metro Exodus for 9.89 (-67%)
One of the most acclaimed and top rated shooters of recent years. The player must escape from the crumbling ruins of the old Moscow Metro and survive in a post-apocalyptic Russia.
Nominations for the Steam Awards 2022
As every year, Steam will again present its gaming awards in 2022. Steam players can nominate their favorites in eleven categories. But beware: A game can only be nominated for one category! With one exception, there must also be titles that were published this year. In the nomination process, Steam also automatically suggests all games that were released in 2022 and have already been played via the profile. The following categories are available:
- game of the year
- VR game of the year
- “Work of Love”
- “Better with friends”
- Outstanding visual style
- Innovative gameplay
- Best Game You’re Bad At
- Best Soundtrack
- Outstanding game with a deep story
- “Lean back and relax”
- Best Game On The Go (New Category)
As always, those who diligently nominate will receive a badge in various degrees from Steam for their own player profile. There are also experience points for each badge level.
Steam then selects the finalists from the nominations. Users can then choose the winner again from these finalists during a winter promotion in December. As in previous years, the winners of the Steam Awards 2022 will be announced on January 3, 2023.
