Statement of the day | Public items and buildings must remain advertising-free

The municipality of Groningen has introduced the advertising tax as of January 1, 2024. Since then, entrepreneurs have had to pay for advertising in public spaces, even if it is on their own facade or shop window. But that does not apply to a bus shelter that Uber Eats has taken over in the city center.
