Tümosan Konyaspor announced that two of its players were referred to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board within the scope of the betting investigation carried out by the Turkish Football Federation. The club published a statement titled “Public announcement” regarding the issue.
In the statement, the green-white team emphasized that they have always stood by “what is right and true” and stated that they will continue the same attitude from now on.
Konyaspor included the following statements in its statement:
“We have no doubt that the general principles of law will be followed during the investigation process and the presumption of innocence regarding our football players will be taken into account. Our club will continue to show the necessary sensitivity to ensure that justice is served in the most accurate way and the process is concluded in a healthy way.”
The club also emphasized that the necessary cooperation will be made with the relevant institutions in order to establish justice and announced that the process is being followed closely.
