Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek made important evaluations regarding Mauro Icardi’s contract situation in his statements on a television program. The President emphasized that they would not act in a hurry regarding the future of the Argentine striker, whose contract will expire at the end of the season.
Özbek drew attention to the contribution of the star football player to the yellow-reds and said:
“Icardi is a very important player of Galatasaray. His service to Galatasaray is indisputable. His recovery process after his injury took a long time. The contract issue is not today’s business. We have a period of time until the half-time. There may be demands in this process, but you cannot do this individually. All of them are things that can be done in a certain period. It is too early for today. We will make the evaluation together with our coach at that time.”
