State of emergency in Ecuador after escape of infamous drug boss | Abroad

UpdateEcuadorian President Daniel Noboa declared a state of emergency on Monday following the escape of notorious drug criminal Fito. He is considered one of Ecuador’s most dangerous drug criminals, the Spanish newspaper said El Pais. Fito is also suspected of being involved in the assassination of presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio last August.
