State has not sufficiently protected residents of Bonaire against climate change, ‘greenhouse gas emissions must be reduced’

The Dutch government must do more to protect the residents of Bonaire against climate change. The State must also set ‘clear, binding targets’ within a year and a half to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, in line with the Paris Climate Agreement. The court in The Hague has granted some of Greenpeace’s demands in this regard.
