Disputed scene at HSV
Excitement in the derby: “St. Pauli was robbed”

In the first half of the excited duel in Hamburg, there is a scene that caused a sensation. An expert becomes clear.
Large bad luck for FC St. Pauli in the Hamburg derby at HSV: At 1-0, the Kiez kickers in the first half of the game had the huge chance to increase to 2-0-but then the referee Christian Dingert. And took the team of coach Alexander Blessin the great opportunity to maybe even make a small preliminary decision.
What happened? The 25th minute in the Volksparkstadion: St. Pauli frees itself from the powerful Hamburg game with a few back passes. Goalkeeper Nikola Vasilj hits the ball far forward. And there is a running duel between Pauli striker Andreas Hountondji and HSV defender Jordan Torunarigha. The defender suddenly goes down – and Dingert decides directly on offensive foul. Hotondji would have been through that would only have had HSV goalkeeper Daniel Heuer Fernandes in front of him. At least one over -harsed and rash decision of the referee.
TV expert Erik Meijer from the broadcasting broadcaster Sky became clear during the half-time break: “This is a clear chance of gate,” said the ex-player. “The HSV gets away well and St. Pauli was stolen.”
Instead, Dingert would have had to decide differently: “Let go and later decide whether it was.” Meijer continues: “We arrived in 2025. Then you could have seen that there was no striker foul, but rather a defensive foul and a shrub.”
The conclusion of the Dutchman, which also included the heated atmosphere in the stadium: “Everyone looks at you, floodlights burn. But a wrong decision.”
