On the last transfer day, the SSC Naples found its replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (23), who migrated to Paris: Noah Okafor (24) by loan by the league competitor AC Milan and could be committed thanks to a purchase option. According to reports, a fee of 1.5 million euros is due, a purchase would cost 23.5 million euros. Okafor should actually switch to RB Leipzig in mid -January, but the deal failed at the medical check.

Milan had won Okafor in the summer of 2023 for 15.5 million euros from Red Bull Salzburg. Since then, the Swiss has been used 53 times and contributed seven goals and five templates. He was mostly asked as a joker. In Naples he steps into the footsteps of Kvaratskhelia, who went to PSG for EUR 70 million in mid -January. The list of possible successors was long, as a serious candidate, Karim Adeyemi (23; BVB) and Alejandro Garnacho (20; Man United).
