Spoorwerk is delayed by a shortage of technicians: ‘Renovation Station Groningen will take longer’

Rail work takes longer or should even be postponed due to a shortage of engineers. In the meantime, rail manager ProRail has to plan the mega jobs on the basis of the availability of technicians. “It’s very tight. If we notice that it is not possible, we have to move work,” says ProRail CEO John Voppen.
