Sphere’s successor to U2 has been confirmed: Phish!

Phish have been announced as the new band for the immersive Las Vegas venue, the “Sphere”: The American rock band have announced performances for April 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st. The group states that these will be their only Sphere shows in 2024.

The venue is currently hosting U2’s “Aehrung Baby” residency shows, which have been extended through February. There were previously rumors that Bon Jovi or Beyoncé could be the next acts in the multimedia dome. Phish is now a relatively small fish.

Advance ticket sales start now

Trey Anastasio, vocalist and lead composer for the group, said: “From the moment we first heard about the Sphere and its potential, we thought about how we could bring our show to this stunning screen. We’re excited to now be able to bring this experience to our fans.”

Tickets are available now through December 11, 2023 at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET. Any remaining tickets go on general sale Friday, December 15th at 10 a.m. PT/1 a.m. ET.

Phish’s next shows will be their annual New Year’s Eve events in New York, taking place December 28-31 at Madison Square Garden.
