– Oh, what a good time, sighed the quintet who arrived at the Nokia Arena in Tampere from North Ostrobothnia as they tried to enter the World Cup stage.

Pirjo Koivuharju, Battle of Koivuharju, Pekka Tervo, Pirkko Tervo and Aarne Tervo had received the so-called foam hands from the partner point of the World Cup located in the city.

Foam hands are a popular fan prop, especially in sports competitions, in recent years.

The security guards at the Nokia Arena informed the Finnish spectators that foam hands are not allowed in the stands. The viewers did not get any justification.

– We wouldn’t have gone crazy with these, Pekka Tervo commented.

So fan products made for the event are not allowed to be taken to the fairways?

– It’s strange, Pirjo Koivuharju stated.

– It was not the intention that we have to leave them out, Pirkko Tervo said.

Despite the setback, the quintet decided to enter the Nokia Arena, as the expensive tickets had already been purchased in October.

– We will certainly be depressed by this, Taisto Koivuharju lightened the mood.

The organizers were tight-lipped about why the group from Pohjois-Ostrobothnia was not allowed to enter with foam hands.

– Such information has come from senior management, the bearded warden announced.
