The Spanish weather service Aemet states that the large -scale power outage in Spain and Portugal cannot have been caused by a ‘rare atmospheric phenomenon’, which the Portuguese network manager was talking about. Aemet was unable to observe that kind of symptoms or large temperature fluctuations on Monday.
