Spanish politician who led reconstruction after flooding in Valencia is getting up for "forged diploma"

José María Ángel Batalla (68), head of the Spanish government committee responsible for reconstruction in Valencia after last year’s deadly floods, has resigned. The Spanish anti-corruption parquet is investigating whether Batalla entered the civil service with forged diplomas in the 1980s.
