Spanish network operator estimates that it takes six to ten hours before the whole country has electricity again: “We face unseen challenge”

Due to a large electricity failure, large parts of Spain and Portugal are without electricity. The after -effects can even be felt to the south of France. Trains and metro sets came to a halt, traffic lights fell out and people got stuck in lifts. The cause is not yet known, but Portuguese authorities do not exclude a cyber attack.
