The Spanish Federation works on the details of the joint candidacy with Portugal and Ukraine

On February 21 there will be a meeting to move forward with the project

The joint candidacy of Spain, Portugal and Ukraine to host the World Cup 2030 it is increasingly tangible. Everything is going smoothly and there is a great commitment from all the parties involved.

The next February 21st, Luis Rubiales, President of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), will preside over a meeting in the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas to continue working on the project.

In this meeting youSome representatives of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) will also participate.. The two federations will work hand in hand to review all the work that has already been carried out and to define the next objectives and next steps. Besides, contacts with the headquarters are also foreseen that have shown interest in hosting matches and the internal and external work teams of each venue will be presented.

This meeting is announced the same day that the joint candidacy to be presented by Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile. Is he fourth project that has been made public for the World Cup 2030which joins two other competitors for the Spanish Federation: Morocco and the joint bid by Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Greece.
