France and Spain meet in the final match of the European Basketball Championships. France gassed up for the finals when they beat Poland with the dullest numbers of 95-54 on Friday.

France was clearly better in the match as a whole and deserved their place in the final.

France’s number one was Guerschon Yabusele. He scored 22 points and grabbed four rebounds.

In the second semi-final of the evening, Spain defeated the Finns in a familiar game by Gordon Herbert coached by Germany and advanced to the final. The final numbers were 96–91, to the disappointment of the home crowd.

Spain rallied from ten points behind in the second half to win. Lorenzo Brown bagged no less than 29 points.

NBA point guard Dennis Schroeder scored as many as 30 points for Germany in the match, but it was a thin consolation in the end.

Spain ended Susijeng’s games in the EC tournament.

The EC basketball final will be played in Berlin on Sunday at 21:15.
