Spain and Argentina will play for the men’s and women’s title

Galán-Navarro and Coello-González prevailed in their duels against the French team

The selections of Spain and Argentina will face each other for the title of the World Padel Championships which are played in Dubai, after eliminating France and Portugal, respectively, in the semifinals.

The Spanish couple formed by Alejandro Galán and Paquito Navarro defeated the French Adrien Maigret and Benjamin Tison 6-1 and 6-4 in the semifinals and Arturo Coello and Jerónimo González beat Bastien Blanque and Jerome Inzerillo 6-0 and 6- 3.

The other semi-final between Argentina and Portugal ended in victory for the Albicelestes, after Martín Di Nenno and Franco Stupaczuk beat Henrique Barbosa and Pedro Ferreira 6-1 and 6-1 and Federico Chingotto and Agustín Tapia Vasco Pascoal and Pedro Araujo won 6-3 and 6-0.

For its part, the Spanish women’s team will fight for the title at the World Paddle Championships that are held in Dubai, after defeating Belgium 2-0 this Friday in the semifinals.

The Spanish couples clearly solved the pass to the final, with the victories of Beatriz González and Marta Ortega over Astric Diercks and An-Sophie Mestach (6-0 and 6-1) and by Barbara Las Heras and Veronica Virsedagainst Elyne Boeykens and Elizabeths Wyckaert (6-2, 6-0).

They will also face Argentina, who beat Italy in their semi-final.
