Alluding to memoir
As a result of August 6th, the makers presented the minister several satirical inside. In addition to allusions to alleged beauty operations, they show them as an armed politician who shoots dogs. The scene alludes to Noem’s memoir “No Going Back” from 2024, in which she describes that she has killed her family dog because he was “not educational”.
Noem’s criticism of the episode
The newly released alternative end shows NoEM how it enters an animal business and shoots the animals through milky glass panes. A small dog initially escapes, but Noem catches him outside of the shop and kills him. Even before the first broadcast, NoEM criticized the presentation after still pictures of the episode had been published.
On Thursday (August 7th) Noem commented in an interview with the conservative moderator Glenn Beck in her representation in “South Park”: “It is so cheap to constantly disparage women because of their appearance. Only liberals and extremists do that. If they want to criticize my work, they should not.”
JD vance was also caricatured
“Got a Nut” is the second episode of the current season and ties in with the premiere sequence, in which Donald Trump and his political allies were the goal of satire. In addition to NoEM, the makers caricatured: also JD Vance, which is shown in a short appearance as a mini-assistant by Trump, an allusion to the 70s series “Fantasy Island”. However, the main target of the episode is the immigration and customer enforcement (ICE), which criticizes the episode for its hard and radical migration policy.
