Son-in-law Linda de Mol does not want to say anything about Jeroen Rietbergen

Tim de Wild, the son-in-law of Linda de Mol, wants to say absolutely nothing about the Jeroen Rietbergen affair. “That’s not up to me,” says the freelance TV producer in Story magazine.

Noa Vahle, the daughter of Linda de Mol, returned to the Netherlands last week after a long stay in Qatar. She was there to report on the World Cup for her uncle’s TV channel. Once she arrived at the airport, she flew into her boyfriend Tim de Wild’s arms, right in front of the camera lens of paparazzo Edwin Smulders.

Proud of Noah

Tim tells in the Story that he is very proud of Noa. “Noa did very well and received many nice reactions. But I did miss her, so I’m glad she’s back.”

The two met each other last November at the after party of the film premiere of Alles is Tafel, the film by mother Linda. “We got talking, added each other on Instagram and went on a date.”

Keep quiet about Jeroen

That film premiere was the last time that Linda and her (ex) lover Jeroen Rietbergen walked the red carpet together. ‘Painful’, the Story calls it.

What does Tim actually think of Jeroen’s misconduct behind the scenes at The Voice of Holland? “I’m not going to say anything more about that, that’s not up to me,” he says.

“Linda’s great!”

It makes sense, of course, that Tim doesn’t want to offend his mother-in-law. “Linda is a wonderful mother-in-law. Very nice, great, really great. She is very sweet. I was received very warmly.”

Finally, Tim says that there are no plans to live with Noa yet. “But Noa is great.”

What does Chelsey think?

Linda also has a daughter-in-law: Chelsey Weimar. And he also seems instructed not to say anything about the family troubles. When asked if she ‘still notices anything’ about the riot around Jeroen, she says, also in Story: “No, I’m just a down-to-earth Dutch person, I’m not just surprised by anything.”

“I’ve never actually done that. None of that matters to me,” she concludes.
