The sneaker and clothing retailer Solebox has teamed up with the Berlin design studio New Tendency to offer something special for the launch of the Adidas Originals sneaker NMD_S1: Instead of the usual shoe box, there is a small piece of metal furniture that can be used as a wall shelf or side table.
“We worked on a modular piece that resembles a shoe box but can also be used as a wall shelf or side table. Designed to match the modern design of the shoe, it is made of untreated steel with laser-engraved logos on the inside and millings on the lid,” explains Solebox in a press release.
The exclusive and limited design element is only available in the Berlin Solebox store at Nürnbergerstr. 14, available on Solebox.com or via a Highsnobiety sweepstakes. Customers who buy the sneaker in the Berlin branch on the day of publication will receive the small piece of furniture as well.
